Wave this personalized white flag to signal an unconditional surrender of your heart, a desire to end an argument that has spiraled out of control, or a loving way to ask for forgiveness after hurting the one you love.
Personalize the text on the white flag by entering the PDF form fields in the template below or remove the text completely and keep it a plain white. You can also use it like a card and write in your own handwriting on the back that simply says I Love You.
Some sample messages include:
I Surrender My Heart To You.
Please Forgive Me For Hurting You.
No More Fighting.
Let's Make Up. I Love You.
I Was Wrong To Yell.
(Your own text)

Surrender is usually associated with losing the battle, weakness, or giving up. However, the battle is already lost if you are both distant to one another. After a fight, someone needs to make the first move to restore closeness. There is strength in surrender when it's done as a selfless act of love to move forward.
In a positive way, surrendering your heart in a relationship is a meaningful and loving sentiment as a true sign of trust.
Reassurance and forgiveness will help heal some wounds in your relationship as you face life's challenges together. Sometimes a little humor is all that's needed to de-escalate the conflict and get back to normal.
Lay your weapons down and raise the white flag of love surrendered so you both win.

Use the paper clip to score the fold lines. The fold line guides are the blue dashed lines.
Line up the paper clip on the fold line guide, then place the ruler next to it to keep straight. Push down and slide clip along guide lines. Repeat along the flag.

Cut along the outside of the flag and pole using a craft knife or scissor.

Fold flag pole in half.

Fold the white flag along the pole as shown.

Place 3 strips of double sided tape (or glue) along the inside length of the flag pole.

Press and slide your fingers along the entire length of the flag pole to keep flat.

Turn the flag over and use a pen on the back of the pole as shown to curl along the entire length.
This curling will add strength to the pole as well as making it look more three dimensional.

Add some waves to the flag by curling it around the pen along the grey shades.

Angle the pen as shown and curl the paper.

Place the pen underneath as shown to add more depth to the wave of the flag.

Curl the top corner as shown.

Ready to wave your white flag or place in an area where your beloved will see it.
