Whether it’s for a surprise game day snack or party, this simple nachos recipe is perfect and easy to prepare. Most of the work is stacking the ingredients.
Tortilla chips stacked with ground turkey meat, cheddar cheese, chopped black olives, green onions, and jalapeños. Extra hot sauce is optional depending on your taste buds.
The meat needs to be chopped into small pieces while it’s cooking so that it spreads all over the chips.
The cheese will help keep the meat on the chips and the toppings from falling off.
Some guacamole or sour cream scooped on top also makes it taste amazing.

Also works well for a movie night or binge watching at home snack. It’s best to eat nachos hot right out of the oven so the tortilla chips are nice and crispy. They will get soggy from the moisture of the meat after about 25 minutes so keep that in mind when serving.
Nachos are a restaurant favorite appetizer you can make at home.
Organic thin & crispy tortilla chips make an excellent base for nachos. They are not super salty and stay crisp even with all the toppings.
Five blade design to easily chop meat in the pan. Works better than a spatula to break the ground meat down into tiny pieces.

Add chili, onion, and garlic powders to the ground meat and stir. Add a tablespoon (or 2) of water if needed so the powders mix into the meat.
Simmer on low heat until water is fully evaporated and stir occasionally.

Spread tortilla chips on large sheet pan covering the whole pan. Spoon cooked ground meat over the tortillas evenly.

Spread the shredded cheddar cheese over the meat equally.

Spread the olives, jalapeño slices, and green onions over the cheese.

Cook in oven for 7 minutes at 400℉ until cheese is melted.

Serve hot out of the oven so the chips are crispy.
Optional: Serve with hot sauce, sour cream, or guacamole.
