Instructions

Download the personalized template PDF above.
Click and highlight the wording in the PDF form fields to personalize with your own names and message on the cover and an optional one on the back.

In Adobe Reader, select File, Print (input page number to print page 2 only) and make sure Page Scaling is set to NONE.
Heavy weight card stock paper or photo paper works best. Since every printer is different, make sure the paper or media setting is for card stock.

Use the paper clip to score the fold lines. The fold line guides are the green dashed lines.
Line up the paper clip on the fold line guide, then place the ruler next to it to keep straight. Push down and slide clip along guide lines. Repeat for each fold line.

Once all fold lines are scored, use the craft knife and ruler to cut out the matchbook cover. When cutting, keep the cut path slightly inside of the line so that you do not see white around the edges.

Use a scissor to cut out the matches to make it easier. Keep the scissor straight and turn the paper into the scissor to cut along curves.

Using a ruler behind the score line, fold on the score line of the matchbook in each place.

Use double sided tape or glue to to attach the cover together and insert the matches centered all the way to the bottom fold.

Hold the top of stapler directly below the names and staple as shown.

Fold the cover inside the flap that was stapled at the bottom. Give the romantic matchbook to your loved one.
