Folding Stand
Make a folding stand for an iPod, iPhone or other media player and present your beloved with a customized playlist or video. This craft is similar to the Jukebox CD paper craft, but without the need to burn a CD.
Use the stand with the included jukebox or video background to draw your loved one's attention to it. Place a simple message or your own personalization on the top like "Press Play."
The folding stand was designed to display your iPod and iPhone vertically or horizontally. When not used as a romantic craft, the stand easily folds flat to the size of a business card for storage inside a case or wallet.

Folding Stand Template
Instructions
Download the personalized template PDF above.
Click and highlight the wording in the PDF form fields to personalize with the name of your sweetheart and your own message.
Click the print button or File, Print and select Current page (page 2 only) before printing.
Set paper quality/type to best on card stock paper, Page Scaling to None and load printer tray with card stock paper.
Repeat for backgrounds on page 3 or 4 only.
Use the paper clip and ruler to score the fold lines. The fold line guides are the brown dashed lines showing where a fold should be.
Score along the rounded fold lines while pressing down firmly on the paper clip.
Once all fold lines are scored, use the craft knife to cut out each piece. When cutting, keep the cut path on the line so that you do not see white around the edges.
Cut each of the solid blue lines as shown including the blue lined tabs in the center.
Fold in half along the scored line.
Fold again along the grey side.
Fold the narrow black side down.
Press down with your thumb as shown to shape the rounded score line.
Repeat for the other side.
These curves provide strength and support to the back.
Fold the bottom along the blue line and score line as shown.
While holding as shown, interlock the pieces where the blue lines were cut.
Fold up the tabs along the bottom front as shown to provide support.
Place player horizontally or vertically in stand.
Even with a thick cover, your player should fit.
Use one of the included personalized backgrounds to draw attention to your custom playlist or video prepared for your loved one.
Alternatively, mini-tabs are included to place over the top of the player with instruction to press play.
The stand folds to the size of a business card when not in use.
Reverse each assembly step above to flatten as shown.
Fold the top grey side back, bend and insert underneath the tab to secure as shown.
Repeat for the bottom black side and flatten like a business card.
Store behind a case or in a wallet.
Presentation Ideas
- Create a music playlist and use the jukebox background. Place on the dining room table before eating together.
- Make a video using some photos of you together as a couple, footage from a memorable vacation, or a funny video you found while searching.
- If your partner is not one to notice little things, place on a chair and leave the chair in front of the TV, refrigerator, bathroom, etc.
