Flower Ring

Make a single rose more romantic with a free personalized flower ring. Customize the phrases and names on a floral card that speaks of your never-ending love with the words "you see there is no end to my love for" looped in a circle.
Showing your love with flowers doesn't need to be expensive. You can usually find an inexpensive single rose and vase at your local grocery or department store. One rose can be more romantic than a dozen when you use this creative flower ring instead of a standard floral card.
The flower ring is made fully out of paper and easily printable from any color printer.

In Adobe Reader, select File, Print (input page number to print page 2 only) on card stock paper and make sure Page Scaling is set to NONE.
Set paper quality settings to card stock or heavy paper.

Cut the printed paper in half so that each circle is separated. This will make it easier to cut around the circles.

Cut around the outer edge of the gold circle with a scissor. Slowly turn the paper into the scissor and cut as slow or fast as is comfortable without leaving any white around the edges.

Use a craft knife to cut out the center. Hold the knife in a more vertical position than normal to make a curved cut.
Hold the paper while moving the knife along the circular line for a few inches then stop and slowly turn the paper. Keep repeating until fully cut out.

Use the scissor to cut along the line that leads from the outside of the silver circle to the center x.

Cut around the outer circle as shown. The white space along the outer edge of the silver circle needs to remain as it will support the gold ring.

Using the same technique in step 5, cut out the inner circle.

Lift the small flower vase and insert the gold ring from underneath. Hook the gold ring on part of the stem to hold it in place higher than the vase rim for now.

Spread the silver circle apart at the cut line with your fingers and fit it around the stem to lay on top of the vase rim.

The completed steps above are as shown.

Take a strip of transparent tape and apply as shown to tape the cut line together from underneath.

Press the silver circle together when the paper is properly aligned.

Apply pieces of double sided tape onto the gray rectangles on the white edge of the silver circle.

Carefully center and align the gold ring around the silver circle without any white showing.

Once centered, press down along the areas that were taped to attach the gold ring.
Done.
